**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate the requirements of patients and the attendants during hospital stay with consultants, nursing, dietary, housekeeping, billing department.
- To coordinate with IP Billing and clarify about any doubt regarding billing and allied requirements.
- Discuss cost of service, insurance coverage, and payment options with the patient.
- To ensure that patient’s requirements at the time of admission and discharge are met and that their stay in the hospital is comfortable and hassle free.
- To ensure smooth conduct of admission and discharge procedures. F.M. Checklist to be monitored prior to admission
- To ensure patient is discharged as per TAT of < 2hrs
- To ensure that discharge summary is thoroughly explained and handed over to the patient while leaving, if not (except in the case of insurance patient) to ensure that the patient leaves the hospital with a valid discharge note.
- To co-ordinate with Nursing staff to ensure that all investigations and reports are handed over to the patients at the time of discharge and obtain an acknowledgement from the patient (except in MLC cases where documents are sent to MRD).
- To coordinate and ensure that the intra hospital transfer of patients is carried without delay or discomfort.
- To undertake appropriate and proactive action deemed fit to protect the interests of patient and hospital.
- To coordinate and ensure safety and security of patients, attendants and visitors.
- To carry out any other task assigned by higher authority.
- To interact with registrars and consultants to make deliveries one day prior to anticipate discharge.
- To Conduct daily rounds of all the patients and escalate the patient requirements to concerned department for smooth operations
- To Update patients about the approximate bills incurred on daily basis and counselling for payments on daily basis.
- Minimum Qualifications - Graduation
- Technical Qualifications - Basic knowledge of MS Office
- Minimum - 2 to 4 years exp. as IP PRE
- Able to speak local language, English and HindiStrong interpersonal skills & communication skills**.**:Adminstration
