**Network Administrator**

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to oversee the management and maintenance of our company's computer network. The Network Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure and providing technical support to users.

**Responsibilities**:
Install, configure and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal network uptime

Implement security measures to protect the network from cyber threats and unauthorized access

Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability

Provide technical support to users, including hardware and software installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance

Develop and maintain documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies

Evaluate new network technologies and recommend upgrades or improvements to the existing network infrastructure

Participate in the planning and implementation of network expansion projects

Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of network-related tasks

**Qualification**

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

1+ years of experience as a Network Administrator or a similar role

Experience in network design, implementation, and maintenance

Strong knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN

Proficiency in network security and firewall technologies

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

**Certifications**:
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification preferred.

Other industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus.
