Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated System Administrator for our Coimbatore office. This full-time role involves managing and overseeing our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal operation and security. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in server management, network troubleshooting, and system administration within a dynamic, service-oriented environment. This is a crucial role within our IT Services and IT Consulting framework. Qualifications and Skills In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in managing Windows Server environments, ensuring uptime and security. Proficiency in Linux System Administration to configure and troubleshoot Linux-based systems efficiently. Expertise in Active Directory for managing user data and security policies, as well as implementing infrastructure improvements. Strong understanding of VMware vSphere for virtualization and consolidation of server resources to optimize infrastructure performance. Ability to write and manage PowerShell scripts for task automation, system configuration, and streamlined administrative processes. Proficient in network troubleshooting, diagnosing network issues, and maintaining robust and secure communications networks. Experience with AWS Management including setup, deployment, and monitoring of cloud-based solutions. Strong skills in Cisco Networking to manage and configure network hardware components effectively and securely. Roles and Responsibilities Manage and maintain all installed systems and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools. Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement fixes. Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies to safeguard company data and applications effectively. Identify, analyze, and resolve system and network issues, ensuring prompt resolution to minimize downtime and impact on operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and consistent delivery of IT services. Participate in the design of information and operational support systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's IT infrastructure. Provide 2nd and 3rd level support on escalated issues, delivering technical support and guidance to junior team members as needed.
