Special Educator (Schools & Colleges)

**Position Overview**:
The Special Educator supports students with diverse learning needs in both school and college settings. They provide individualized instruction, guidance, and resources to help students overcome academic and social challenges. This role involves collaborating with faculty, families, and support staff to create inclusive learning environments and promote student success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assess students’ academic, social, and emotional needs through evaluations and observations.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) or accommodation plans tailored to students’ needs.
- Modify curriculum, instructional methods, and assessment techniques to accommodate disabilities and learning differences.
- Provide direct instruction, tutoring, and support services to students with disabilities.
- Facilitate assistive technology use and accessibility accommodations.
- Collaborate with teachers, professors, counselors, and families to coordinate support services.
- Conduct training workshops for faculty and staff on special education laws, inclusive teaching strategies, and disability awareness.
- Monitor student progress, maintain detailed records, and report outcomes.
- Advocate for students’ rights and ensure compliance with educational policies and legal requirements (e.g., IDEA, ADA).
- Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning atmosphere.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or related field.
- Certification or licensure in Special Education (varies by location).
- Experience working with school-aged children and/or college students with disabilities.
- Knowledge of disability laws and accommodation processes in educational institutions.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and manage multiple priorities.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
