**About the Role**:

- Responsibilities will include editing highlights from a variety of sporting events, producing high-quality agency and online sports news stories and write flawless shotlists and scripts in a timely manner.
- The position requires good news judgment and the ability to handle several stories simultaneously.
- Written English to a native standard is essential, as is experience and interest in news and current affairs. Willingness to be flexible on hours/shift patterns, including nightshift work if required.

About You:

- Experience in video journalism.
- Excellent knowledge of the global sports agenda.
- Strong story-telling and video editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro preferred).
- Written English to a native standard.
- Ability to work under pressure and at speed on breaking stories.
- Good news judgment.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Understanding of the sports industry and sports rights.
- As well as English, fluency in one or more other major languages.
- A track record of covering sports events or previous experience working as a sports producer.
- A track record of responding to breaking news.
