As Eli Lilly strives to achieve its purpose of making life better for patients, we have been building up our in-house ‘Consumer Experience’ function, which will design and execute next-generation marketing campaigns aimed at informing and educating consumers (or patients) directly.
To support the Consumer marketing teams in their decision-making, a data and analytics team has been set up in Indianapolis (HQ) and Bengaluru (LCCI).

The role offers a unique opportunity to support the Consumer Experiencefunction by leveraging data to optimize Pharma Omnichannel marketing strategies. This role plays a key part in the implementation and scaling of our Customer Data Platform (CDP), utilizing tools such as Adobe Journey Optimizer, RTCDP (Real-Time Customer Data Platform), and CJA (Customer Journey Analytics). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build journeys,deliver insights that improve marketing efforts, enhance customer journeys, and drive business performance.
Core Responsibilities:
Collaborate with marketing, product, IT, and other stakeholders to understand and meet their data needs, particularly with respect to Pharma Omnichannel strategies.
Extract actionable insights from theadobe Customer Data Platform (CDP) to enhance personalized omnichannel marketingstrategies, customer experiences, and business processes in the pharmaceutical space.
Provide data-driven recommendations based on insights gathered to a wide range of business and technical stakeholders, ensuring that strategies align with both customer needs and business objectives.
Implement predictive models using the CDP and other tools to enable real-time decision-making, contributing to more effective Pharma Omnichannel marketing campaigns.
Stay current with emerging trends in ad-tech, mar-tech, and the pharmaceutical marketing landscape, driving the evolution of data-driven marketing strategiesacross the organization.
Support the development and implementation of omnichannel strategies that incorporate digital, in-person, and other touchpoints, ensuring a seamless customer experience across the entire journey.
Required Qualifications:
2-8 years of experience in data analysis or business analytics, with a strong understanding of Pharma Omnichannel marketing.
Hands-on experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Data Management Platforms (DMPs), or CRM tools(preferably Adobe Journey Optimizer, RTCDP, and CJA).
Experience in gathering business requirements, transforming raw data, and delivering analytics reports with actionable insights and recommendations, particularly in the Pharma sector.
Working knowledge of visualization tools such as PowerBI (preferred) or similar platforms.
Experience with programming languages like R or Python is beneficial but not mandatory.
Proven ability to break down complex, unstructured business problems and translate them into data-driven solutions, particularly in the Pharma marketing domain.
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to work independently while managing competing priorities.
Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional, cross-geography teams to drive data solutions that improve business outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Data or Business Analyst in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Retail, BFSI, Digital, or Media industries, with a specific focus on Omnichannel marketing strategies.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
