Education Counsellor

Location: Pune

Full-time

Counseling/Student Support Services

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Student Counseling: Provide one-on-one counseling to prospective students, helping them understand various IT programs and courses offered by the institute.

Career Guidance: Offer career advice and guidance, assisting students in choosing the right IT career path based on their interests, skills, and industry demands.

Course Selection: Assist students in selecting appropriate courses and training programs that align with their career goals.

Follow-up: Maintain regular follow-up with prospective students, ensuring they have all the information needed to make informed decisions.

Workshops & Seminars: Organize and participate in educational workshops, seminars, and events to promote IT education and career opportunities.

Market Research: Stay updated on the latest trends in IT education and the job market to provide accurate and up-to-date advice to students.

Database Management: Maintain accurate records of student interactions and ensure timely updates in the CRM system.

Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and academic teams to ensure alignment between counseling efforts and institutional goals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in educational counseling, preferably in the IT sector.
- Strong knowledge of IT courses, certifications, and career paths.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Schedule:
