**Global Job Title**

**Assembly Technician**

**Job Purpose**
- Will work in Manufacturing plant for assembly and testing subsea distribution products per specified industry standards
- Help in maintenance activities of all equipment, help in improving shop floor facilities and procedures.
- Execution of basic assembly, torqueing, pressure tests up to 30 ksi
- Material handing of different products upto 5 ton.

**Key Interactions**

Reports to: Production Manager/Supervisor
Internal interactions with : manufacturing engineers, assembly technicians, Plumbers, welders, production planners, Quality, Warehouse.

**Main accountabilities(Be-Do
- Have Skills)**
- Good interaction skills with internal and external customers- Able to read and interpret assembly and test procedures and work with tools and materials necessary to meet the schedules are on hand prior to the test start dates.
- Able to document the data as the assembly and testing progresses.
- Collects, records and maintains test data and other required IMS documentation
- Provides ideas and helps in their execution for lean implementation
- Works in accordance with health and safety procedures. Proactively identifies hazards and comes up with suitable solutions.
- **Expected to work with senior technicians and work as second hand in the early months and then take up independent activities**

Experience using various shop floor tools for handling(Overhead crane/Pallets), Assembly tools(Manual/Hydraulic/Pneumatic), & Operating equipment like pumps is advantageous

Works in shifts per business needs

**Typical Profile**
- ITI/ Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering
- 2 to 6 years of relevant experience on shop floor
- Working knowledge of ISO and other applicable standards and guidelines

**Must to have exposure/experience performing FAT(Factory Acceptance Tests), Hydrostatic tests, System integration testing or similar.**
- Previous Experience in Oil and Gas product pressure testing, Aerospace, Automobile is preferable

90% Physical work, 10% leading others/ Documentation/communication etc
