**Job Purpose**
- Will work in Manufacturing Plant - subsea distribution products per specified industry standards
- Ensure assembly and test operating tasks and activities within time frame in agreement with the objectives fixed in term of performance, quality and safety OR Ensure supervision of a team of assemblers
- Help in maintenance activities of all equipment, help in improving shop floor facilities and procedures.

**Key Interactions**

Reports to: Production Manager/Operations Manager
Internal interactions with : manufacturing engineers, assembly technicians, Plumbers, welders, production planners, Quality, Warehouse.

**Main accountabilities(Be-Do
- Have Skills)**
- Excellent interaction skills with internal and external customers
- Supervises a team of assemblers, Technicians and plumbers
- Resolves routine questions and problems in mastered subassemblies. Refers more complex issues in discussion with experts.
- Completes required test documentation including test reports, failed test reports and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
- Ensures the planning and organization for the team for weekly, monthly and quarterly schedules
- Act as a referent for most complex assembly and test activities
- Manages required IMS documentation for all projects, shopfloor equipment, processes
- Provides ideas and helps in their execution for lean implementation
- Works in accordance with health and safety procedures. Proactively identifies hazards and comes up with suitable solutions.
- Develops lean processes, manage flow for production
- Experience using various shop floor tools for handling(Overhead crane/Pallets), Assembly tools(Manual/Hydraulic/Pneumatic), & Operating equipment like pumps is advantageous
- Works in shifts per business needs
- procedures.
- Establishes and executes the training plan of the unit and ensures yearly
- people reviews.
- Ensures that machines are in good operation in the production unit.
- Ensures Compliance with Factory laws, Industry standards or global working standards

**Typical Profile**
- B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering
- 8-10 years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of ISO and other applicable standards and guidelines

Must to have exposure/experience performing FAT(Factory Acceptance Tests), Hydrostatic tests, System integration testing or similar.
- Previous Experience in Oil and Gas product pressure testing, Aerospace, Automobile is preferable

90% Physical work, 10% leading others/ Documentation/communication etc
