The Team:

As a QA Tester, you will play a key role in the delivery of solutions to new and existing customers and will be part of discovering new technologies/solutions within the FinTech division.

Your role:

- Assure quality and stability of Nasdaq software solutions by understanding business and functional requirements and designing test cases to ensure the correctness of implementation and capture defects within the solution under mínimal supervision.
- Moderate complexity tasks based on the regulatory, design, and testing guidelines where you are expected to exercise good judgment in resolving appropriate actions.
- Execution of functional and regression test cases and testing corrections of regulatory changes, bugs, and improvements as part of regular releases as well as when delivering client hotfixes.
- After initial tests are complete, test functionality and performance on different platforms (Sybase, MSSQL, etc.) based on project demands determined by PM.
- Document test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios and maintain the test management system under the lead’s mínimal supervision.
- Build, upgrade, and maintain test environments and relevant test data, Perform functional and non-functional testing, design, and development of test documentation.

What are we looking for:

- Has at least 2 years of relevant testing experience.
- Has either Manual or Automation testing experience.
- Understands Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methods, types, tools and process.
- Good with design and development of test documentation.
- Experience with various phases of the test lifecycle (test case/checklists development, test execution, defect tracking).
- Experience in using any of the following: SQL, Microsoft Office Tools, Jira, Zephyr, Xray, Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, Linux and UFT.
- Knowledge of HTTP and XML.
- Exposure to Agile and Waterfall software delivery methodologies.
- Experience in capital markets, financial services, or FinTech is a plus.
- Amenable to work in any of our office locations in Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, and Pune.
