**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review aging reports to find invoices that are due or past due, and focus collection efforts to ensure timely payment.
- Manage overdue accounts for our US-based clients in the logistics industry.
- Work with clients to set up payment plans and ensure they follow Net 30 payment terms.
- Keep accurate records of collection activities, client communications, and payment statuses.
- Have knowledge of US collection laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and other relevant regulations.
- Work with clients to resolve issues or disputes related to invoices, providing clear communication.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and legal teams to resolve payment problems or disputes.
- Work with the legal team to take necessary legal actions, such as sending demand letters or referring accounts to collection agencies or lawyers.
- Help with other accounting and finance tasks when needed.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- At least 12 months of experience in collections, ideally in logistics, transportation, or related B2B industries.
- Good understanding of US business collection laws and other federal or state laws.

**Experience in logistics or transportation is a plus**
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent negotiation skills to handle difficult conversations and arrange fair payment plans.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with accounts payable / receivable software and Microsoft Office.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
