Data Coordinator

**Key Responsibilities**
The Data Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality data collection, monitoring field activities, and generating timely analytical reports through a Management Information System (MIS). This position will focus on improving the accuracy of data gathered from field teams, assessing data quality, and training field staff to minimize errors in both manual and mobile-based data collection. This position will provide continuous capacity building to field teams, ensuring data-driven decision-making and improving the overall impact of interventions for elderly individuals
**1. Data Quality Assessment & Capacity Building**:
- Conduct regular field visits to assess the quality of data collection by field teams
- Identify common errors in manual and mobile-based data entry and provide corrective training.
- Develop and implement structured training modules to improve data accuracy and consistency among field staff.
- Facilitate feedback sessions with field teams to enhance their understanding of data collection protocols.
**2. Monitoring & Field Supervision**:
- Ensure adherence to standardized data collection methods and protocols.
- Provide hands-on guidance to field staff on accurate documentation.
**3. Data Management & MIS**:
- Maintain and update the Management Information System (MIS) with validated data.
- Ensure timely data entry, verification, and cleaning before analysis.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics to track program performance and impact.
**4. Data Analysis & Reporting**:
- Analyze trends, service utilization patterns, and data quality indicators.
- Prepare and present periodic reports to the program team, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with research and evaluation teams to support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with data protection policies and ethical data management practices.
**5. Coordination & Documentation**:
- Act as a bridge between field teams and the central program team to improve data-related workflows.
- Maintain clear documentation of data collection processes, training sessions, and quality assessments.
- Support audits, evaluations, and research studies by providing verified data and analysis.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- **Educational Background**: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- **Work Experience**: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data management, monitoring & evaluation (M&E), or program analytics in the development sector.
- **Sectoral Knowledge**: Experience in healthcare or community-based interventions is preferred.
**Skills & Competencies**:
- **Data Quality Management**: Ability to identify errors and inconsistencies in data and develop corrective measures.
- **Field Monitoring & Training**: Experience in training field teams and caregivers on accurate data collection techniques.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Strong skills in data entry, validation, and analysis using Excel, Power BI, SPSS, or similar tools.
- **Analytical Thinking**: Ability to interpret data trends and provide actionable recommendations.
- **Communication & Coaching Skills**: Ability to train, mentor, and support field teams effectively.
- **Problem-Solving Ability**: Capacity to troubleshoot data-related issues and improve field-level data collection methods.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
