Key responsibilities of a QA Officer in a pharma company:

- **Document Review and Approval**:Reviewing and approving critical documents like batch records, standard operating procedures (SOPs), change controls, deviation reports, and vendor documentation for accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- **Auditing and Inspections**:Performing internal audits of manufacturing processes, facilities, and documentation to identify potential quality issues and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- **Quality Investigations**:Investigating deviations, non-conformances, and product complaints to determine root cause and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- **Risk Assessment**:Conducting risk assessments to identify potential quality risks throughout the manufacturing process and develop mitigation strategies.
- **Compliance Monitoring**:Staying updated on current regulatory requirements and ensuring the company maintains compliance with relevant regulations like FDA, EMA, and local regulations.
- **Training and Development**:Providing training to production personnel on quality standards and procedures.
- **Vendor Qualification**:Reviewing and approving new vendors and suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards.
- **Data Analysis**:Analyzing quality data to identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
