**Responsibilities**:

- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand system requirements and provide feedback on software design and usability.
- Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and work with the development team to implement effective solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and testing practices.
- Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong experience with automated testing using Selenium.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with other automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with performance and load testing.
