Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software and Web System Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications and web systems through rigorous testing processes. This role requires collaboration with development teams to identify bugs, enhance user experience, and ensure product reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct manual and automated testing of software applications and web systems.
  • Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, errors, and defects using appropriate tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand system requirements and address defects effectively.
  • Perform functional, regression, performance, usability, and security testing.
  • Validate software and web systems against client and business requirements.
  • Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility for web systems.
  • Provide feedback on user interface and overall user experience.
  • Continuously improve testing strategies and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
  • Generate and present detailed test reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a software tester, web tester, or quality assurance professional.
  • Proficiency in testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Postman).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQL for database testing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • ISTQB/CTFL certification is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400, ₹600,000.00 per year
