**JD of Compliance Officer**

Role will include but not be limited to the following duties:

- To conduct internal audits of and advise on compliance related processes and procedures.
- To review the schools’ policies, ensuring there is a robust system to accurately record amendments, version control, scheduling of updates, Governor approval, and the maintenance of an archive.
- To act as the custodian for all inspection documentation as set out in the CBSE ‘Documentation Required for Inspections’.
- To identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develop action plans for the mitigation of those risks and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
- To prepare, assist or advise in the preparation of risk assessments.
- To devise and deliver appropriate Health and Safety and Fire Safety training for staff and pupils. Where specialist external training is required, to coordinate and manage the process.
- Maintain the record of all staff mandatory training together with processes and controls to monitor and review records.
- To investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and advise the Deputy Director of Operations accordingly.
- To be responsible for the Health and Safety budget.

Ensure that appropriate records are maintained to ensure compliance in all areas.

The Mandate requirement are as follows:
1) any retired govt official from Education Department well versed with CBSE rules and guidelines and can handle all the compliance matters related to School Education.

2) based out at Mumbai

3) ready to work as a consultant/on retainer ship,

**Salary**: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
