Account Executive

As an Account Executive at TraxSmart, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, and fostering long-term relationships with clients. Your primary objective will be to grow revenue and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Prospecting & Lead Generation**:
Identify new business opportunities through research, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events. Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
- **Sales Presentations & Demos**:
Present and demonstrate TraxSmart’s products and solutions to prospective clients, tailoring presentations to meet the unique needs of each organization.
- **Negotiation & Closing**:
Manage the sales process from initial contact through negotiation and close, ensuring all customer needs are met and contracts are finalized.
- **Account Management & Retention**:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service and value. Work with existing clients to identify additional sales opportunities and upsell or cross-sell as appropriate.
- **Collaboration**:
Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to implementation and ongoing support.
- **Reporting & Forecasting**:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts. Provide regular updates to management on sales progress and key metrics.
- **Market & Competitor Research**:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to provide valuable insights and competitive advantages during the sales process.
**Requirements**:
- **Experience**:
- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in technology, SaaS, or fleet management solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and KPIs.
- **Skills & Knowledge**:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and develop trust with clients at all levels of an organization.
- Solid understanding of the sales process and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Technical aptitude or the ability to quickly learn new software tools and products.
- **Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).

- Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a consultative sales approach.
- Results-driven, with a focus on delivering value to clients and achieving business objectives.
