- We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented **Presale Representative** to join our team at GMS Beverages in the Tricity region. This is a field-based role where you will be responsible for visiting retail stores, shops, and businesses to introduce and promote our beverages. The primary goal of this role is to engage with potential customers, build relationships, generate leads, and support the sales process by creating awareness of GMS Beverages' products.
**Job Role and Responsibilities**:
- **Field Sales and Customer Engagement**:
- Visit assigned shops, retail outlets, and businesses in the Tricity area to introduce GMS Beverages' products.
- Engage with shop owners, managers, and decision-makers to promote the company’s beverage products and understand their requirements.
- **Product Promotion and Education**:
- Conduct in-person presentations and product demonstrations to retail staff and customers, highlighting the features, benefits, and value propositions of the beverages.
- Educate customers about the product range and answer any questions regarding product specifications, pricing, and availability.
- **Lead Generation and Market Insights**:
- Identify and qualify potential leads through direct interactions with retailers and shop owners.
- Gather market intelligence on competitor products, pricing, and industry trends.
- Report on customer feedback, product demand, and emerging market opportunities.
- **Sales Support and Coordination**:
- Support the sales team by providing them with new leads and ensuring smooth transitions from presales to sales.
- Assist in coordinating product deliveries and tracking customer orders.
- Monitor stock levels in shops and ensure product availability for customers.
- **Building Relationships**:
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with retail shops, ensuring GMS Beverages remains a preferred supplier.
- Address any customer inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster trust and loyalty to maintain repeat business.
- **Follow-up and Reporting**:
- Follow up with potential customers and shops to convert leads into sales and drive product adoption.
- Maintain accurate records of visits, customer interactions, and sales opportunities using CRM tools.
- Report regularly to the sales manager regarding field activities, customer feedback, and market trends.
- **Achieving Sales Targets**:
- Actively work towards achieving monthly and quarterly presale targets, contributing to the overall sales goals of the company.
- Track and monitor sales performance, ensuring that goals are met or exceeded.
- **Promotional Activities**:
- Assist with in-store promotions, including setting up displays and ensuring the visibility of GMS Beverages' products.
- Coordinate promotional campaigns with shop owners to boost sales during peak seasons.
- **Collaboration with the Sales Team**:
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment in goals and strategies for driving product sales and market penetration.
- Share customer insights with the team to improve product offerings and customer service.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field is a plus).
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or retail management, preferably in the beverage or FMCG industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a field-based role with frequent travel.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting is an advantage.
