**Job Title: Safety Officer (NEBOSH/OSHA)**

**Department: Health and Safety**

**Reports To: Health and Safety Manager**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Safety Regulation Compliance**:

- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Stay updated with current legislation and any changes in guidelines or laws affecting the industry.
- **Risk Assessment and Management**:

- Perform risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to minimize risks.
- Implement preventive measures and recommend improvements to existing safety policies.
- **Training and Development**:

- Conduct safety training sessions for employees and ensure that all workers understand and adhere to safety regulations.
- Be willing to undergo further training in the inspection field to enhance knowledge and expertise.
- **Incident Investigation and Reporting**:

- Investigate accidents or incidents to discover root causes.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings from investigations and suggest improvements to prevent future incidents.
- **Emergency Response Planning**:

- Develop and implement emergency response plans.
- Organize emergency drills and ensure all employees are aware of their roles in case of an emergency.

**Requirements**:
**Essential Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field).
- Certification in NEBOSH, OSHA, or a similar recognized health and safety qualification.
- Understanding and willingness to be trained in the inspection field.
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer in an industrial or construction setting is preferred.
