As an IM advisor, the primary responsibility is to work with the business, provide technical expertise, and best practices on managing data and information effectively. The IM advisor offers guidance, governance, and consultation on various aspects of Information management, providing strategic and technical guidance to ensure optimized, compliant, and aligned information management practices with the business's goals and objectives.

**What’s the role?**

IM Advisors and consultants are responsible for identifying and documenting the Information & Data (I&D) business needs of their clients and stakeholders and helping to determine solutions to meet the needs or resolve business problems. Analyze, design, develop, and maintain the end-to-end I&D lifecycle processes and Information Compliance that meet business needs and integrate with business processes and IT architecture.

**More specifically, your role will include**:

- Design, advise and deliver solutions that are future-proof and fit for purpose
- Provide technical expertise and best practices to guide the business in managing their data and information effectively
- Build the infrastructure required for optimal ETL/ELT of data from various sources using SQL and Azure, AWS ‘big data’ technologies
- Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into KPI metrics such as customer acquisition and operational efficiency
- Keep data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers and Azure, AWS regions
- Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members to assist in building and optimizing the product into an innovative industry leader
- Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems

**What we need from you**
- Minimum of 5 to 12 years of experience in the IT industry
- Bachelor's Degree in any IT discipline
- Strong proficiency in SharePoint customization, including OOB and SPFx (SharePoint Framework)
- Well-versed in I&M (Information and Management) compliance and life cycle information management
- Experience in working with unstructured data sets
- Certified Information Professional (CIP) certification
- CI methodology in support of Operational Excellence Activities
- Knowledge of Power Automate/Power Apps/Power BI, data migration and metadata enrichment, O365, MS Azure, scripting with PowerShell and jQuery, as well as data and analytics
- Familiarity with robotic process automation (RPA), MuleSoft, Microsoft.Net, information management & data, data and analytics, and ML (Machine Learning) and AI (Artificial Intelligence)
- Experience in providing support to ensure compliance on data privacy (GDPR) and Trade Controls, and other related regulations is desirable
- Understanding of the different risks, format, controls & processes management of physical & electronic records will be an added advantage
- Good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Has a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solving with demonstrable verbal and written communications skills
- Has good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills and is confident in dealing with business users
