Principal Tester

Job Description
Join our dynamic Product & Engineering Session Control team as a Principal Tester, where you will play a pivotal role in innovating advanced Telecom Software Products for 4G and 5G technologies. In our hybrid work environment, you'll work with a passionate group of engineers and product developers, tackling the demands of R&D product development. Your expertise will help ensure quality and reliability in cutting-edge communication technologies, driving meaningful improvements and performance enhancements.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Work in a mixed environment and use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
• Use advanced problem-solving skills to solve complex problems or problems that do not have routine solutions and take a new perspective.
• Act as a professional advisor and mentor to colleagues.
• May head projects with manageable risks and resource requirements or small teams, handle day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work.
• Analyze, design, develop and test products/services/bug resolution for integrated hardware/software systems as per customers' requirements.
• Resolve customer trouble tickets. Diagnose complex problems/issues (EG hardware, software, combination) and provide resolution or recommend corrective actions.
• Develop SW / HW build-controlled production releases (EG main and update releases, service packages, maintenance updates, and customer design engineering).
• Apply and maintain quality standards. Participates in process and tool evolution and improvements.

Key Skills And Experience
You have:
  

• 8+ years of relevant testing experience on Telecom grade products.
• Testing expertise in SIP, VOLTE/IMS, TAS, in 4G/5G core technologies
• In-depth working experience with cloud-ready, cloud-native, microservices, container architectures.
• Telecom domain experience in the areas of IMS, IP Networking, Telco cloud Core network, Docker/Container/POD, HTTP/2, Service Mesh, Kubernetes.
• Testing & Automation (ROBOT, Selenium)

It would be nice if you also had:

• Good knowledge of OS, Storage interfaces/concepts.
• Analytical and debugging skills and good troubleshooting skills in a Linux Environment
• Scripting experience with Shell/Perl/Python
