**Job Title**: Logistics Executive

**Location**: Gandhinagar, Gujarat
**Salary**: INR 3,50,000 per annum

**Major Responsibilities/Activities**:

- **Supply Chain Coordination**: Collaborate with suppliers, production, and distribution teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished goods. Manage and optimize the end-to-end supply chain process.
- **Inventory Management**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records. Implement inventory control measures to prevent stock outs or overstock situations. Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- **Logistics Planning and Execution**: Plan and coordinate transportation of goods, both inbound and outbound. Work closely with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation. Monitor shipment schedules and track deliveries to ensure on-time arrivals.
- **Customs Compliance**: Ensure compliance with customs regulations and documentation requirements. Coordinate with customs authorities for smooth import and export processes.
- **Vendor Management**: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with logistics service providers, negotiating favorable terms and resolving any issues that may arise. Evaluate vendor performance and suggest improvements.
- **Cost Management**: Identify opportunities for cost savings within the logistics and supply chain processes. Monitor logistics-related expenses and implement cost-effective measures.
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them. Implement contingency plans for unforeseen events that may impact logistics operations.
- **Data Analysis and Reporting**: Utilize logistics software and tools to analyze data and generate reports. Provide regular updates and reports to management on key logistics metrics.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping processes.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Good understanding of Supply Chain and Freight Forwarding
