A 3rd commis chef, also known as a Commis III, is a kitchen professional who prepares, cooks, and serves food to high standards. Their responsibilities include:

- Food preparation: Preparing ingredients, portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Cooking: Following recipes and cooking instructions, and performing basic kitchen tasks like boiling, steaming, and baking
- Presentation: Plating food to high standards
- Stock management: Monitoring stock movement and ordering for their section
- Daily procedures: Carrying out daily and weekly procedures, such as temperature checks, food labeling, and storage
- Kitchen safety: Removing hazards and making safe defects in the kitchen or its equipment
- Communication: Communicating with the kitchen team for a smooth service
- Quality standards: Meeting quality standards and ensuring consistent quality
- Coordination: Coordinating with other sections and supporting the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis

Pay: ₹9,495.91 - ₹27,104.57 per month
