**Job Description — Finance ControllerRole Overview**

The Finance Controller will oversee **accounting operations, taxation, financial planning, and reporting** for all legal entities within the organization. This role ensures compliance with regulatory and legal requirements while driving the company’s financial growth.

**Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Financial Management**
- Oversee and manage the accounting function for all legal entities as per **IFRS** and **Ind AS** standards
- Ensure timely, accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Review and approve journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and transactions

**2. Taxation**
- Manage **Direct Taxes, Indirect Taxes (GST)**, and other tax-related compliance
- Handle tax filings, assessments, and audits
- Stay updated with tax laws and implement changes when required

**3. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)**
- Develop and implement financial planning and budgeting processes
- Conduct **variance analysis** for budget vs. actual performance
- Provide strategic financial insights for decision-making

**4. Cash Management**
- Oversee daily cash management and ensure optimal liquidity
- Develop and monitor **cash flow forecasts**:

- Manage working capital effectively

**5. Investor Reporting**
- Prepare investor presentations, reports, and financial summaries
- Support the CEO in preparing financial materials for current and potential investors

**6. Team Management & Development**
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team
- Allocate tasks, set goals, and ensure operational efficiency
- Establish KPIs to monitor and improve performance

**7. Compliance & Governance**
- Ensure compliance with financial, accounting, and taxation regulations
- Maintain strong financial controls to safeguard assets

**8. Operational Excellence**
- Improve and streamline financial processes
- Implement financial systems and technologies to support business growth

**Requirements**:

- **CA (Chartered Accountant)** with **2-4 years** of industry experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Preferred: Experience in startups or manufacturing industries
- Strong expertise in **financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis**:

- Proven track record in **financial reporting** and **investor communications**:

- Leadership experience in managing and developing finance teams
