Role DescriptionYou will be the first Finance team member of a fast growing Electric Powertrain company.This is a full-time on-site role located in Pune, India. The Financial Controller will set the core systems and process for Conifer India and be responsible for preparing financial statements, conducting financial reporting, and ensuring accurate accounting records, AR/AP. Daily tasks include analyzing financial data, managing budgets, and providing financial insights for decision-making.QualificationsExperience in preparing Financial Statements and Financial ReportingAt least 5+ yrs as a Controller in a Manufacturing organizationProficiency in Accounting principles and Finance knowledge.Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, or CA / CFA degreeExperience in Automotive industry requiredWe are a small team - so critical that your first ask is not to hire more people in Finance :) You are expected to work independently, managing both day to day with attention to detail and accounting at a company levelWe will strongly reference check trust and integrityCompany DescriptionConifer is at the forefront of building the future of Electric Powertrains and Motors.
