Job Description: Tender Estimator / Business Development - Water Infrastructure

Location: Prabhadevi, Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:
Tender Estimation: Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for Water Infrastructure projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors.

Tender Documentation: Create comprehensive tender documents, including technical specifications, scope of work, project schedules, and pricing details.

Business Development: Identify and pursue business opportunities in the Water Infrastructure sector, including potential projects, partnerships, and collaborations.

Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions that align with their project requirements.

Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential areas for business growth in the Water Infrastructure industry.

Proposal Preparation: Develop compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the company's value proposition and capabilities to potential clients.

Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to expand professional networks and stay updated on industry developments.

Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and project management, to ensure accurate estimations and successful project execution.

Negotiations: Engage in negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and partners to secure favorable terms and agreements.

Budget Management: Collaborate with project managers to monitor project budgets and provide insights on cost optimization throughout the project lifecycle.

Reporting: Prepare regular reports on business development activities, tender submissions, and project wins for management review.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tender estimation and business development, specifically within the Water Infrastructure industry.
- Strong understanding of Water Infrastructure projects, including the construction of dams, water pipelines, and irrigation systems.
- Proven track record of successful tender submissions and business development initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for estimating and business development.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and market dynamics.
