Production Supervisor

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Production Planning & Coordination:

- Develop and implement production plans based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and resource availability.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, efficiency, downtime, and defect rates.
- Analyze production data and recommend improvements to enhance operational performance.
- Report regularly to senior management on production status, challenges, and performance metrics.
- Coordinate production schedules to meet customer orders while ensuring efficient resource utilization.
- Monitor production processes to ensure targets for quantity, quality, and timeliness are achieved.

2. Quality Control:

- Ensure adherence to quality standards and inspection procedures to guarantee the production of high-quality furniture products.
- Address quality control issues and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Work closely with the design and engineering teams to ensure product specifications and designs are accurately followed.

3. Cost Management & Optimization:

- Monitor production costs, materials usage, and labour efficiency to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, including process improvements, waste reduction, and energy-saving strategies.
- Manage budgets and track expenses to meet financial targets.

4. Supply Chain & Inventory Management:

- Oversee the procurement of raw materials and manage inventory to ensure production continuity without overstocking or shortages.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to streamline the flow of materials and reduce lead times.
- Ensure raw material suppliers meet quality and delivery standards.

5. Safety and Compliance:

- Enforce workplace safety standards and ensure all production processes comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety, identify potential hazards, and implement preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with environmental standards and sustainability goals.

6. Continuous Improvement:

- Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and lean manufacturing techniques.
- Lead initiatives to improve productivity, reduce lead times, and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- Proven experience (6 to 8+ years) in a production or operations role within the furniture manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes, including upholstery and finishing, Assembly & Packaging techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and oversee complex production operations.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies.
- Familiarity with production management software and ERP systems.
- Ability to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency while managing multiple priorities.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
