Key Responsibilities 1 Production Planning Coordination o Develop and implement production plans based on demand forecasts inventory levels and resource availability o Track and report on key performance indicators KPIs such as production output efficiency downtime and defect rates o Analyze production data and recommend improvements to enhance operational performance o Report regularly to senior management on production status challenges and performance metrics o Coordinate production schedules to meet customer orders while ensuring efficient resource utilization o Monitor production processes to ensure targets for quantity quality and timeliness are achieved 2 Quality Control o Ensure adherence to quality standards and inspection procedures to guarantee the production of high-quality furniture products o Address quality control issues and implement corrective actions when necessary o Work closely with the design and engineering teams to ensure product specifications and designs are accurately followed 3 Cost Management Optimization o Monitor production costs materials usage and labour efficiency to ensure cost-effectiveness o Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives including process improvements waste reduction and energy-saving strategies o Manage budgets and track expenses to meet financial targets 4 Supply Chain Inventory Management o Oversee the procurement of raw materials and manage inventory to ensure production continuity without overstocking or shortages o Collaborate with the supply chain team to streamline the flow of materials and reduce lead times o Ensure raw material suppliers meet quality and delivery standards 5 Safety and Compliance o Enforce workplace safety standards and ensure all production processes comply with relevant health and safety regulations o Promote a culture of safety identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures o Ensure compliance with environmental standards and sustainability goals 6 Continuous Improvement o Identify and implement process improvements automation opportunities and lean manufacturing techniques o Lead initiatives to improve productivity reduce lead times and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency Skills and Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Industrial Engineering Manufacturing or a related field Proven experience 6 to 8 years in a production or operations role within the furniture manufacturing industry Strong knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes including upholstery and finishing Assembly Packaging techniques Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and oversee complex production operations Excellent problem-solving decision-making and organizational skills Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies Familiarity with production management software and ERP systems Ability to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency while managing multiple priorities Job Type Full-time Pay 40 000 00 - 45 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Education Diploma Required Experience Production 6 years Required Work Location In person
