Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Strategy and Planning:

- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s business goals and growth objectives.
- Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function to provide accurate forecasting and financial reporting.
- Oversee capital structure, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.

2. Financial Management:

- Manage the company’s financial performance, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow management.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization.

3. Investor Relations and Fundraising:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and financial stakeholders.
- Lead fundraising efforts, including equity, debt, and other financing options to support company expansion.
- Prepare and present financial performance reports and projections to the Board of Directors and investors.

4. Operational Efficiency:

- Collaborate with other executives to optimize operational efficiency and support strategic initiatives.
- Implement cost-control measures and drive initiatives for operational excellence.
- Oversee financial audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

5. Team Leadership:

- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development within the finance department.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team based on financial analysis and projections.

Qualifications:

- Education:MBA in Finance, CPA, or equivalent advanced degree in finance or accounting.
- Experience:Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years as a CFO or in a senior financial role within the biotech, pharmaceutical, or related industry.
- Skills:

- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and financial management skills.
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams.
- Proven track record in fundraising and managing investor relations.
