**Job Summary**

The Plastic Moulding Supervisor oversees daily operations of plastic moulding machines, ensuring efficient production, quality output, and timely completion of manufacturing schedules. This role involves supervising production teams, troubleshooting equipment, maintaining a safe workspace, and optimizing production processes.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Production Management**:

- Oversee daily moulding operations to meet production schedules.
- Plan and allocate resources, including manpower, machines, and materials, for optimal productivity.
- Monitor cycle times, downtime, and efficiency to maximize output.
- **Team Supervision**:

- Manage and supervise machine operators and technicians.
- Provide training to staff on operational procedures, safety standards, and machine usage.
- Evaluate team performance and address any issues.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure finished products meet quality specifications and industry standards.
- Monitor processes to reduce defects and maintain consistency.
- Address and resolve product quality issues promptly.
- **Troubleshooting and Maintenance**:

- Identify and troubleshoot moulding process issues and equipment malfunctions.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs and preventive maintenance.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and waste reduction.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices and optimize workflows.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Enforce workplace safety policies and regulations.
- Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safe handling of materials.
- Investigate and report safety incidents.

**Required Qualifications**
- **Education**: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Plastics Engineering or related field.
- **Experience**: 7+ years in plastic moulding operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes and machines.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting moulding defects and machine settings.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001.

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience with specific materials (e.g., PP, PET, ABS).
- Knowledge of automation or robotic-assisted moulding systems.
- Familiarity with ERP software for production tracking.
