The Sub Editor will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of news content before it is published on our portal. This role involves close collaboration with reporters, editors, and other team members to ensure that our content adheres to the highest standards of journalism.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Content Editing**: Review and edit news articles for clarity, grammar, punctuation, and adherence to the publication’s style guide.
- **Headline Creation**: Craft compelling and accurate headlines and sub-headlines.
- **Fact-Checking**: Verify facts, sources, and accuracy of the content before publication.
- **Content Quality**: Ensure that content is free from errors and meets the editorial standards of Gambhir Mudda.
- **Deadline Management**: Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
- **Collaboration**: Coordinate with reporters, writers, and other editorial staff to enhance the quality of news coverage.
- **Editorial Guidelines**: Uphold and enforce editorial policies and guidelines.
- **Content Planning**: Assist in planning the editorial calendar and suggest story ideas based on current trends and audience interests.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: 2-4 years of experience as a Sub Editor or in a similar editorial role, preferably with experience in a news portal or newspaper.
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Hindi, or a related field.
- **Skills**: Excellent command of Hindi language, strong editing skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic photo editing tools is a plus.
- **Creativity**: Ability to create engaging and informative headlines and content.
