Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and detail - oriented Sub - Editor who is fluent in both written and spoken Hindi & English. The Sub - Editor will be responsible for writing, editing, proofreading, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of content for publication. This role requires a meticulous individual with a passion for language, grammar, and clarity, who can work well in a fast - paced environment.

Role & responsibilities

• Create, edit and proofread content in Hindi and English, ensuring grammatical accuracy, coherence and consistency.
• Collaborate with content writers and other editors to maintain high - quality editorial standards.
• Conduct fact- checking and verify sources of information.
• Work closely with the editorial team to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of grammar, syntax, and language conventions in both languages.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with editorial tools and software such as MS Word, MS Excel, Google Docs, and editing software.

Experience

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in writing, editing, proofreading, or journalism.

Qualifications

Preferably a Masters degree in English/ Mass Communication
