Icu Nurse

**Clinical Responsibilities**
- Provide continuous monitoring and care for critically ill patients.
- Assess and record vital signs, neurological status, and other critical parameters.
- Administer medications, fluids, blood products, and intravenous infusions as per physician orders.
- Manage life-support equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps, dialysis machines, and monitors.
- Assist with and perform emergency procedures like CPR, intubation assistance, and code blue response.
- Provide pre
- and post-operative care for ICU patients.
- Ensure infection control practices (hand hygiene, aseptic techniques, isolation protocols).
**Patient Management**
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient status, treatments, and interventions.
- Monitor for complications, detect early signs of deterioration, and respond promptly.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity at all times.
- Support patients with nutrition, hygiene, and mobility needs when applicable.
**Communication & Collaboration**
- Work closely with intensivists, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
- Communicate effectively with patient families, providing updates, education, and emotional support.
- Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds.
- Report critical changes in patient condition to physicians immediately.
**Technical Skills**
- Operate and troubleshoot ICU-specific equipment.
- Perform advanced nursing procedures like suctioning, arterial line monitoring, and central line care.
- Ensure proper handling of specimens for laboratory investigations.
**Administrative & Professional Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and handovers during shift changes.
- Uphold hospital policies, protocols, and legal regulations.
- Participate in continuous professional development, training, and skill enhancement.
- Mentor and guide junior nurses and nursing students.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and research activities.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
