**Position Overview**: The Staff Nurse for CT-ICU (Critical Care Intensive Care Unit) plays a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the critical care setting. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing and coordinating patient care within the CT-ICU, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nursing interventions.
**Responsibilities**:
1. **Patient Care**:
- Monitor and assess patients in the CT-ICU, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of patient conditions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
- Implement and maintain a plan of care tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
- Monitor vital signs, assess pain levels, and address any changes in patient status promptly.
2. **Collaboration**:
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing assistants and other support staff in the CT-ICU.
3. **Critical Thinking**:
- Respond to emergencies and crises within the CT-ICU, demonstrating critical thinking skills and the ability to make quick and informed decisions.
- Evaluate and revise patient care plans based on ongoing assessments and changes in patient conditions.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in critical care nursing and incorporate evidence-based practices into daily patient care.
4. **Quality Assurance**:
- Adhere to established protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure a high standard of patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of patient outcomes and safety within the CT-ICU.
- Conduct regular assessments of equipment and report any malfunctions promptly.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing) from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing license in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
