Job Summary: We are currently hiring a Lab Assistant to join our in-house laboratory team. The Lab Assistant will be responsible for supporting quality testing, documentation, and R\&D activities related to plywood and its raw materials.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine tests on raw materials, adhesives, and finished plywood as per industry standards.

Assist in research and development work and data collection

Maintain accurate test records and assist with quality documentation

Follow safety and hygiene protocols in the lab

Work closely with the Quality Control and Production teams to ensure consistent product quality

Support lab equipment maintenance and calibration

Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma in Wood and Paper Technology, Pulp and Paper, or related fields

Basic knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and quality control methods

Prior experience in the wood or plywood industry is an advantage

Familiarity with IS standards for plywood testing (e.g., IS 303, IS 710) is preferred

Good communication and teamwork skills
