Position: Disbursement Coordinator

Job Description: Located in Gurgaon, India, this position will be responsible for end to end processing of Americas' regional market disbursements, accounting entries, account reconciliations and tax filings. He or she will report directly into the Manager, Procure to Pay, Americas' within the Global Shared Services organization.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Disbursements
- Overall responsibility for payment functions supporting the Americas. This includes the US, Canada, Mexico, Columbia & Argentina markets
- Disburse payments on a daily/weekly basis in Trax and bank portals
- Coordinate cash forecast, funding requests and payment releases with Treasury
- Research payment rejections
- Manage queries from vendors and internal customers (payment status, invoice support, audit)

Reconciliation/Month-end
- Working with the bank reconciliation team to clear open items
- Reconcile accounts payable accounts in NetSuite
- Prepare and submit reconciliation files in Blackline

Abandoned Properties, Tax and Audit
- File US Tax 1099 forms yearly
- Manage end to end Abandoned Properties process including reconciliation, journal entries, due diligence, state escheatment filing and write-offs

Ad-hoc Projects
- Support system change/enhancement implementation including UAT, communication and training
- Support auditor requests (both internal and external)
- Support additional processes at the business expands

Desired skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or Accounting preferred
- 5+ years of progressive experience in the field of accounts payable, preferably in a shared services environment
- An enthusiastic, proactive contributor who takes on tasks and brings them to prompt completion
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, and adjust priorities as necessary
- Proven strong administrative and organization skills; respect for confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills including the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and bring them to resolution
- A strong work ethic with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail; working with mínimal supervision
