Studio Covers is a luxury home furnishings D2C brand looking to bring on-board a Sourcing Merchandiser. This is an in-office position from our workplace in Sector-60, Noida.

**About The Role**:
As a Sourcing Merchandiser, you will be expected to fulfil the following roles and responsibilities:
1. Conducting research on raw materials, specifications, and going prices in the market for the materials that you have been asked to source for.

2. Discovering relevant sources for various materials, including for fabrics, raw materials, job work karigars, etc.

3. Arranging for samples from various vendors after having done your due diligence.

4. Negotiating terms with various vendors and getting the best price for the company.

5. Ensuring POs are make and sent out in a timely manner as per the rate fixed.

6. Ensuring vendors adhere to the timelines and the material is supplied in the time frame instructed by management.

7. Coordinating with the Quality Controller to ensure that the quality of the materials is up to our general standards.

8. Being the main point of contact between vendors and the company. Ensuring that all documentation such as PIs and invoices are made by vendor in a timely manner.

9. Preparing all documents related to imports in case the material is imported.

10. Coordinating with Accounts to ensure payments are made in a timely manner.

11. Maintaining a consolidated database of vendors for various fabrics and raw materials.

Here are the major skills required in order to excel in the role:

- Excellent follow up
- Ability to negotiate
- Being organized
- Ability to work on MS Office (Word and Excel) and Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides)
- Have a Bachelors Degree or higher in the field of têxtiles, fashion designing, supper chain operations, or business.
- Are fluent in both, English and Hindi (writer and verbal).
- Have experience of 2 years or more in the same or a similiar role.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
