Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Product Designer. The Product Designer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with the role including visual design, design thinking, user research, product design, creating and designing products from concept to completion. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify user needs as per their respective mood boards, create prototypes, and iterate on designs, while adhering to brand guidelines and design standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct historical design and market research to support concept development.
- Use 3D/2D CAD software to create models, concepts for presentations and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with global offices/sourcing agencies and fabrication teams for design development.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in design, merchandising, and development.
- Participate in product development meetings and provide updates to leadership.
- Communicate ideas clearly and efficiently through product renderings and presentations.

Preferences
- Previous experience in product design field developing new and innovative products from idea to launch.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design capabilities merging various materials and manufacturing process.
- Proficient in designing and hand-sketching or 2D/3D software.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders
- Knowledge of current and emerging design trends, tools, and technology.
- Passion for design history and the housewares industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as a team.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
