**Experience**: 5+ years in US Legal Transcription, Training, and Quality Control
**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Training & Onboarding**:
- Develop and implement a **structured training program** for new hires in **US legal transcription** to ensure alignment with **Client’ quality and formatting standards**.
- Conduct **assessments and certifications** post-training to validate transcriptionists’ readiness before assigning live projects.
- Establish an **audit mechanism** to monitor new hire performance and ensure a consistent quality standard.
**Quality Control & Compliance**:
- Perform **final QC checks** on transcripts before client submission, ensuring adherence to **US legal transcription guidelines**.
- Ensure strict compliance with **legal terminology, formatting rules, and confidentiality requirements**.
- Implement **error-tracking and root cause analysis** to drive continuous improvement in transcription accuracy.
**Training Material & Process Optimization**:
- Develop and maintain **training manuals, legal reference guides, and style sheets** in collaboration with Client.
- Create a **training calendar/roster** for periodic refresher sessions and quality improvement workshops.
- Introduce **continuous learning programs** to enhance transcriptionists’ skills and keep them updated on legal terminology.
**Client Success & Communication**:
- Act as the **primary point of contact** for client queries, concerns, and quality-related feedback.
- Conduct **regular sync-ups with Client** to align on quality benchmarks and implement process improvements.
- Lead **grievance redressal discussions** and ensure **client satisfaction** through proactive issue resolution.
**Performance Monitoring & Reporting**:
- Develop **KPIs and performance metrics** to measure training effectiveness and transcription quality.
- Prepare **weekly/monthly reports** on quality trends, errors, and corrective actions taken.
- Work closely with the **Operations Manager and QC teams** to drive continuous improvements.
**Key Skills & Qualifications**:
- **Mandatory: 5+ years of experience in US Legal Transcription, with expertise in legal formatting, terminology, and compliance.**:
- **Strong understanding of US legal system requirements** for transcription accuracy and confidentiality.
- Proven track record in **training, coaching, and quality control** within transcription services.
- Excellent **communication, stakeholder management, and client-handling** skills.
- Hands-on experience with **quality monitoring tools, automated proofreading software, and legal documentation tools**.
- Ability to conduct **root cause analysis** and implement corrective action plans.
- Prior experience in **client-facing roles within the legal transcription domain** is a strong advantage.
