She/He will be the head of the Academic Team and he/she would be directly responsible to the Principal for training, education and discipline of students; and assist in achieving the objectives of the School.
- Planning, coordination and implementation of the academic programme.
- Preparation of students' and teachers' time table, allocation of classes, substitutions, dispersal duties and instructional/ancillary duties to teachers in consultation with the Principal.
- Taking departmental meetings for transparency and better quality of education to be given.
- Organization and conduct of School Assembly to improve general awareness of the students and to impart moral education.
- Providing for class room comforts and teaching aids to teachers to help them deliver the best.
- Ensuring proper coverage of syllabus by sub-dividing it into period-wise/month-wise planners.
- Supervision of work done by the teachers, to ensure effective instruction and progressive coverage of syllabus according to the laid down schedule.
- Regular checking of teachers' diaries and of students' note books to assess effectiveness of instruction imparted.
- Ensuring smooth conduct of examinations including the admission test.
- Ensuring timely compilation of results, organizing the Open Day, interacting with parents on the progress made by students.
- Proper maintenance of documents including academic dossiers of students.
- Recommending to the Principal cases of concern of students on grounds of poor academic performance/discipline.

Towards Students
- Identifying scholastic weaknesses of students and initiating measures to remove these weaknesses by remedial classes, individual attention in class and by initiating periodical checks on the progress shown by the weak students.
- Ensuring a high standard of discipline among the academic Staff and students at all times and dealing with all cases of indiscipline.
- Arranging periodical medical check-up.
- Organization of all the School functions & dynasty meets in which the students are involved.
- Performing other duties assigned to him/her by the Principal or expected from him/her. He/She will always be freely accessible to the students and reflect an image of a friend and a guide.
- Any other duty given by the Principal will be taken care of.

**Salary**: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
