Sales and Marketing Assistant Job Role & Objectives

**Job Role**:
A Sales and Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the sales and marketing teams in their daily activities, ensuring that campaigns run smoothly and sales objectives are met. This role involves a combination of administrative tasks, customer interaction, and marketing support, making it a vital position in any organization aiming to grow its market presence and revenue.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Sales Support:

- Assist the sales team in generating and qualifying leads.
- Prepare sales presentations and proposals.
- Manage and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system with new contacts and sales activities.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings or calls between sales representatives and clients.
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and previous communications to ensure potential sales are not lost.

2. Marketing Support:

- Support in organizing and promoting events, webinars, or trade shows.

3. Administrative Tasks:

- Prepare and maintain Excel documents and reports, such as sales forecasts, performance metrics, and campaign results.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide support as needed.
- Assist with market research and competitor analysis to inform sales and marketing strategies.
- Manage inventory of marketing materials and reorder as necessary.

4. Customer Relationship Management:

- Maintain positive relationships with existing customers by providing excellent service.
- Coordinate follow-up activities post-sale to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and clients to ensure communication is clear and projects are executed smoothly.

**Objectives**:
1. Increase Lead Generation: Support the sales team in identifying and nurturing leads to drive higher sales conversions.

2. Enhance Marketing Effectiveness: Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness and drive customer engagement.

3. Improve Sales Efficiency: Ensure the sales team has the resources and support needed to close deals quickly and efficiently.

4. Customer Retention: Help maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and positive word-of-mouth.

5. Data Accuracy and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales and marketing activities to inform strategic decisions and improve future performance.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, has strong communication skills, and is eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Internship, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Supplemental Pay:
