We’re looking for an experienced PostgreSQL DBA with expertise in managing and optimizing PostgreSQL environments, both on-premises and on AWS (RDS/Aurora).

Key Responsibilities:
Manage PostgreSQL architecture, cluster setup, and configuration tuning.
Design and implement backup strategies (PITR, replication, snapshots).
Optimize database performance and query efficiency.
Ensure security via encryption, access control, and compliance auditing.
Configure replication and high availability (failover, streaming).
Monitor database health and troubleshoot issues promptly.

AWS Focus:
Manage Aurora PostgreSQL instances and RDS services.
Implement database performance tuning, backups, and replication in AWS.
Secure cloud databases using IAM, VPC, and encryption best practices.

Soft Skills:
Communicate technical concepts clearly to all stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Solve problems efficiently and take initiative in process improvements.
