JOB DESCRIPTION
- **Overall Job Roles & Responsibilities**

The main purpose of the Workshop Supervisor’s job is to overlook and supervise all the activities of the transport workshop and ensure that all work orders are completed on time, minimize vehicle downtime, and complies with the quality while maintaining a safe working environment.

**Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities**

1. Direct, supervise and coordinate with workshop staff and to run all maintenance and repair activities for company vehicles at transport workshop.

2. Ensure the availability of the needed stock parts, coordinate with transport head for needed parts and maintain proper level of stock items at store

3. Ensures that any given job is completed within the allocated timeframe and budgeted cost, and reports all deviations with analysis and corrective action.

4. Vehicle fault identification and troubleshooting by using vehicle diagnostic tools.

5. Inspect engines, transmission and other vehicles systems especially MB trucks and other movable assets as per checklist to determine repairs to complete, creating detailed reports to facilitate work scheduling.

6. Responsible for job allocation and job flow in the workshop including job scheduling and labor allocation for day-to-day operations.

7. All company fleet daily, weekly and monthly inspections as per checklists and scheduling for fault rectification as per checklists.

8. Reporting on accidents and vehicle breakdowns and to minimize vehicle downtime by implementing proper maintenance procedures in order to attain maximum vehicle utilization.

9. Perform routine preventive maintenance of company vehicles along with reactive maintenance and road breakdowns management.

10. Must know about lubricants selection, tire and other vehicle parts selection and to promote cost effective maintenance management with min maintenance cost.

11. Report making, maintaining maintenance logbooks and proper scheduling of vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Degree : High School or Diploma

Certification : Preferably with Heavy Vehicle Driving License

Experience : Minimum of 5 years in heavy vehicles maintenance especially MB trucks, forklifts and road tankers

Abilities / Mental Skills : Effective Supervision, Effective Communication and Problem Solving Skills

**Job Type**: Contractual / Temporary
