Quality Controller- Procurement

The **Quality Control - Procurement** professional will be responsible for ensuring that all procured goods, materials, and services meet the organization’s quality and compliance standards. The role involves close coordination with the procurement, operations, and project teams to ensure quality assurance at every stage — from vendor selection to material inspection and final delivery.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct **quality checks** and inspections on materials, equipment, and supplies procured for various projects.
- Develop and implement **quality control processes** and inspection protocols for all incoming materials.
- Work closely with the **procurement team** to define product specifications and quality benchmarks.
- Evaluate **vendor performance** based on quality, reliability, and compliance with standards.
- Maintain documentation of quality inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to **resolve quality-related issues** promptly.
- Ensure **adherence to internal and client-specific quality standards** (including government or NSDC requirements, if applicable).
- Support the **Procurement Head** in continuous improvement of sourcing and quality control procedures.
- Conduct periodic **vendor audits** and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Prepare **MIS reports** and maintain a detailed database of inspection outcomes and supplier performance.
**Required Skills & Competencies**:
- Strong understanding of **quality assurance methods**, product inspection, and procurement processes.
- Excellent **attention to detail**, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret **technical specifications, drawings, and quality standards.**:
- Hands-on experience in **vendor audits, quality documentation, and compliance management.**:
- Proficiency in **MS Excel, ERP tools, and report preparation.**:
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration.
**Education & Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in **Engineering / Supply Chain / Quality Management / Related Field.**:
- Minimum 3-8 **years** of experience in **Quality Control, Inspection, or Procurement Quality** (preferably in Education, Skill, or Project-Based industries).
- Knowledge of **ISO standards, material testing, and audit processes** will be an added advantage.

- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Strong ethical standards and sense of responsibility.
- Willingness to travel for site inspections and vendor audits.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹9,587.48 - ₹30,000.00 per month
