Role Export Control Compliance Officer

- Support Global Export Control Compliance team in control and

compliance activities of the following areas
- TCS Software Products, Tools, Platforms and Services
- TCS IT, Digital, BPS, Engineering, Consulting Services to TCS

Customers
- Product Development including Engineering/ Re and Reverse

Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics for TCS Customers and

Electromechanical Systems Manufacturing Plant and
- Partners Software Products, Tools, Platforms and Services
- Support Global Export Control Compliance team in ensuring Sanctions

Essential Duties and

**Responsibilities**:

- Work cooperatively and proactively across functional areas to ensure

compliance with all export laws, rules, and regulations globally
- Determine jurisdiction and classify software and hardware products and

technologies per export control laws of the item/ technology country of

origin;
- Review and recommend the use of exemptions and exceptions
- Develop export control and compliance processes, implement / roll-out to

concerned areas and support for ongoing compliance / continuous

improvements
- Provide guidance to Business Units regarding trade compliance

regulations and policies/procedures
- Brief business unit stakeholders on license/agreements

provisos/limitations and scope
- Conduct Export Control compliance training and develop Content for

Training
- Assist with compliance audits and assessments;
- Prepare export and import documentation
- Oversee Sanctions Screening Analysis
- Implementing screening processes and
- Maintain records and brief senior management

Job Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree with any specialization suitable for Risk & Compliance
- Minimum of 10 years of export control classification, licensing, and

compliance experience specializing in Software Products and Technology

Required Skills &
Personal

Characteristics:

- Must have a working knowledge of export and import practices, of US

Export Control Laws including Office of Foreign Assets Control and U.S.

Customs regulations at a minimum
- Experience with export control classification of Encryption and other

Technologies and Technology products
- Ability to integrate with and support business operations, multi-task, and

work across functional lines

Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month

**Experience**:
