
Front Office Assistant

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls and respond to inquiries efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient check-ins and check-outs.
- Verify and update patient information and documents accurately.
- Handle patient registration, including obtaining insurance and personal details.
- Coordinate with different departments for appointments, tests, and treatments.
- Collect consultation fees, issue receipts, and maintain billing records.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office area.
- Assist in handling patient complaints and directing them to the concerned department.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, data privacy, and hygiene standards.
**Qualifications**
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospital Administration or related field is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in a front office or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
**Skills and Competencies**
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and basic computer operations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- High level of patience, empathy, and professionalism.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology (preferred but not mandatory).
