Social Media Executive

Position Overview:
As a Social Media Executive, you will play a key role in developing and implementing social media strategies to promote our brand, engage with our audience, and drive growth across various social media platforms. You will be responsible for managing our social media accounts, creating compelling content, analysing performance metrics, and staying up-to-date with industry trends. This role requires creativity, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of social media platforms and their best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with our brand objectives, target audience, and overall marketing goals.

Content Creation: Create engaging and shareable content for social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and graphics. Ensure content is optimised for each platform and consistent with our brand voice and style.

Social Media Management: Manage and maintain our social media accounts, including scheduling posts, monitoring comments and messages, and engaging with our audience in a timely and professional manner.

Community Building and Engagement: Foster meaningful connections with our followers, respond to comments and messages, and proactively engage with users to build a strong online community.

Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyse social media performance using relevant tools and platforms. Provide regular reports on key metrics, trends, and insights to inform future strategies and campaigns.

Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms. Identify new opportunities and recommend innovative strategies to reach and engage our target audience effectively.

Social Media Advertising: Assist in developing and implementing paid social media campaigns, including audience targeting, ad creative, budget management, and performance tracking.

Brand Monitoring: Monitor online conversations, reviews, and mentions of our brand across social media channels. Respond to feedback, resolve customer issues, and protect our brand reputation.

Social Media Calendar Management: Plan and maintain a social media content calendar to ensure consistent and timely content delivery across platforms.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and engage with diverse audiences.
- Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas for social media campaigns.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager) is a plus.
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a plus.
