Procurement Representative

Support and implement locally the strategy of Ecolab IMEA Procurement. This covers all Ecolab companies, for Indirect & Equipment.

Position is based on delivery of business results, ensuring locally consistency with the Company's requirements, including supply assurance, cost, quality service and innovation which are required to meet the business need.

This position authorizes the following:

- Work with Category Teams on proper execution of supply & services within the required timeframe
- Cooperation with local, regional, and global stakeholders to assure a smooth operation
- Travel: Domestic to Visit Plant Site/3P/2P, suppliers and Internationally on a need based.
- Supports Categories as follows but not limited to Manufacturing, Logistics (Transport /WH/FF), Facilities, Professional Services, Fleet, Travel, Equipment
- Delivering the budget saving 5 % on spend by effectively supporting on negotiations for the local spends Indirect & Equipment. Driving cost saving project and initiative.
- Contract Review Ongoing Basis execute pertinent written contract and increase contract coverage to reach 80%.
- Provide seamless supplier management and compliance support.
- Assess the materials related risks, develop, and execute to action plans.
- Finalizing contract with complete documentation in accordance with procedures.
- Strategic Sourcing and preparing the financial/ cost analysis, Comparative Quote Analysis and involved in conducting commercial negotiations.
- Total Purchase of $20 Mn including Non inventory items.
- Develop and implement country/cluster purchasing strategies of the indirect and equipment categories in line with respective global/regional procurement strategies
- Manage total cost of ownership of the categories, develop new suppliers, manage supplier relationship, and achieve annual cost savings target
- Develop and continually improve purchasing policies, monitor, and continually improve purchasing processes and practices
- Collaborate with relevant business units and functional teams for the greatest level of synergy, such as quality, inventory, cash flow, speed to market

**Business Process Management**
- Manages people or processes critical to the efficient functioning of the procure-to-pay process
- Responsible for efficient coordination operation within area of accountability, internal client/external supplier.
- Identifies, propose for approval, and implements business process improvements
- Supports data and process requirements of department
- Report forecasted projects/price on the pipeline doc, and completed savings on the TDC-Saving Doc.
- Assists in integration of acquired companies.

**ERP Requirements**:

- System 7 & Accpac / Oracle
- Maintaining and administering Item Master and Vendor Master
- Spend Analysis and Std Cost Review

**Capabilities & Strengths**
- Self-starter, good communicator, result-oriented, get things done;
- Bachelor’s degree, or above, gained from a recognized university, major in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, business administration.
- Solid track records in Indirect Services & Equipment purchasing, in-depth knowledge in business operations;
- Good command of English, both in written and oral.
- Can speak at least one local dialect in the country/cluster.
- Can travel frequently within the country/cluster.
- Behavioral Qualities like Negotiations, Assertive, Teamwork, Work Under Pressure/Uncertainty

**Education/Experience**:

- Graduate Mechanical / PG Diploma in Materials Management / MBA in Operations/ Supply Chain.
- Overall experience of 6 to 8 yrs., Solid track records in Indirect Services & Equipment purchasing fields.
- Strong exposure in integrated financial systems
- Strong exposure on ERP, Strong drive for Continuous Improvement, Strong Commercial Acumen
- High degree of numerical ability and logical reasoning Should be well versed with local & international taxation, detailed procurement and accounts receivable knowledge, Complete awareness and hand-on experience with the GST system and running import operations
- Should be conversant with international contracts and its documentation, ERP knowledge.
