**Location**:Surat (Piplod)

**Responsibilities**:

- Handle end-to-end procurement of packaging materials like corrugated boxes, tapes, stretch films, pallets, labels, housekeeping and stationary etc.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors for packaging and miscellaneous materials.
- Collect quotations, compare pricing, and negotiate for best rates and terms.
- Raise purchase orders and follow up with vendors for on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with production, stores, and warehouse teams for material requirements.
- Track inventory levels and plan procurement to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
- Maintain proper purchase records, agreements, and supplier data in Excel/ERP.
- Resolve issues related to quality, shortages, or delivery delays.
- Evaluate vendor performance periodically and ensure compliance with standards.
- Work closely with accounts and logistics for smooth billing and material movement.
- Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies and documentation norms.
- Generate periodic reports on purchase cost, supplier performance, and material planning.

**Required Skills**:

- Good knowledge of packaging materials used in manufacturing/logistics.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Must have on-boarded new vendors
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP or Purchase software
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and manage priorities.
- Attention to detail and good record-keeping skills.
- Basic understanding of GST, delivery terms, and material handling.

**Education**:

- Graduate in any discipline (Preferred: B.Com, BBA, or Diploma in Materials Management)

**Experience Required**:

- 2 to 5 years of experience in purchasing packaging materials or indirect procurement in manufacturing/logistics industry.
