Job Description: Purchase Executive

The Purchase Executive is responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services, with a focus on both *Capital Expenditure (CAPEX)* and *Operational Expenditure (OPEX)*. This role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, placing orders, managing inventories, and ensuring that purchases align with the company's strategic objectives and financial guidelines. The Purchase Executive will collaborate with finance, operations, and other internal departments to optimize both short-term (OPEX) and long-term (CAPEX) purchasing decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement & Ordering:

- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, quality products, and services for both CAPEX (e.g., machinery, equipment, long-term assets) and OPEX (e.g., consumables, operational supplies).
- Place purchase orders, ensuring accurate specifications and delivery timelines.
- Track and manage orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery, meeting business requirements and production schedules.

2. CAPEX Management:

- Assist in the identification, evaluation, and purchase of capital assets, including machinery, equipment, and technology upgrades.
- Ensure that CAPEX purchases align with the company’s long-term growth strategy and are within budget constraints.
- Collaborate with the finance team to evaluate and track capital expenditure budgets and ensure adherence to approval processes.
- Support project teams with the procurement of assets needed for new facilities or large-scale initiatives.

3. OPEX Management:

- Oversee the procurement of goods and services related to operational expenditures, ensuring that day-to-day business operations are fully supported.
- Ensure efficient management of consumables, raw materials, and other operational supplies to avoid disruptions and optimize cost efficiency.
- Monitor OPEX spending and help identify areas for cost control and process improvements.

4. Supplier Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers of both CAPEX and OPEX materials, ensuring high-quality products and services at competitive prices.
- Regularly assess supplier performance in terms of delivery timelines, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness.
- Resolve any disputes, delays, or issues related to product quality, delivery, or pricing.

5. Inventory Management:

- Collaborate with internal departments, such as inventory and operations, to manage stock levels for both OPEX and CAPEX-related materials.
- Ensure inventory is available for production without overstocking and that capital assets are properly tracked and maintained.
- Monitor usage patterns to forecast future requirements and optimize purchasing decisions.

6. Cost Control & Budgeting:

- Assist in the development of procurement strategies and budgets for both CAPEX and OPEX categories.
- Help identify opportunities for cost savings in both capital and operational purchases without compromising on quality or business performance.
- Ensure compliance with budgetary constraints for both CAPEX and OPEX, aligning with the company’s financial goals.

7. Documentation & Reporting:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities, including capital and operational expenditure purchases, contracts, and supplier communications.
- Generate regular procurement reports that provide insight into spending patterns, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
- Support audits by providing detailed documentation of purchasing decisions for CAPEX and OPEX.

8. Quality Assurance:

- Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that products, whether for CAPEX or OPEX, meet all required specifications and standards.
- Handle returns, exchanges, or quality issues with suppliers as necessary, ensuring timely resolution.

9. Collaboration:

- Collaborate with finance to monitor and control both capital and operational expenditure, ensuring that the company’s overall budget is adhered to.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and other teams to ensure that all purchases (both CAPEX and OPEX) align with project timelines and operational requirements.
- Provide input into the strategic planning process for future capital investments.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
